MZ-102 Hall Flow Meter/Apparent Density Meter
Principle:
According to GB1482 or ISO4490, the flowability of metal powders is usually measured with a Hall flow meter. In the measurement process, a sample of 50g ± 0.1g is weighed and poured into a funnel with the hole blocked by a finger. When the finger is quickly moved away, the stopwatch (precision 0.2s) is started immediately until all the powders flow through the hole. The flowability is assessed by the time that takes 50g powders flow through the funnel hole. The standard funnel for the Hall flow meter needs to be calibrated with a standard sample and the standard sample flow rate is 40 ± 0.5s /50g.
The flowability of metal powder can be indicated as the time needs when 50g metal powder pass through standard funnel with specified aperture.
Structure:
(1)Funnel(diameter of aperture 2.5mm,5mm)
The funnel is made up of brass.the inner surface has been polished specially.which makes it very smoothly.Besides,sufficient thickness and hardness can avoid from transformation and excessive wear.
2.5mm aperture for measuring flowability,5.0mm aperture for measuring bulk density.
(2)Holder,base and receiver
Holder is used to fix funnel.Base is used to install holder and receiver.
(3)Digital scale（Optional accessories）:maximum weight is 1kg.weight resolution is 0.02g.

Instroduction of MZ-102
MZ-102 tests the flowability of metal powder by measuring whether the sample can flow through the 2.5mm standard funnel.
The design and production of HFlow-1 Hall-flow meter is based on the Chinese national standard GB / T1482-2010 and international standards ISO4490-2008.
