Test process:



(1) Turn on the power of the MAY melt blown material melt index tester, adjust the level, set the temperature to 230 ℃, close the die shutter, and then put the die in the charging cylinder, click the temperature control button to let the instrument start heating Constant temperature 230℃


(2) After the constant temperature reaches 230℃, prepare 13~15ml of polypropylene PP raw materials, pour the raw materials into the charging cylinder and compact it with the material rod, and then insert the 325g load piston rod into the charging cylinder. The displacement rod is placed under the weight tray, but cannot touch the piston disc. Then press the 1835g load sleeve on the piston rod, click the timer, and the instrument starts to count down 300 seconds.


(3) After the 300-second countdown of the instrument is over, there will be an alarm sound, then click to run, and then push the die baffle aside, the raw material will be squeezed out under a load pressure of 2160g, when the piston rod touches the encoder, the instrument will automatically Start timing. When all the raw materials are extruded, the timing will automatically end, and the MFR value of PP raw materials will be displayed on the screen in g/10min.


(4) Select the print result on the screen, and the test result will be printed out automatically.

Note: According to the GB/T3682-2018 standard specification, the MFR value in the above test is the MVR value and the density at 230℃.
