Instrument introduction:
MAYZUM consistometer is a general instrument used to determine the texture structure of food. It is used to determine the viscosity of ketchup, jam and yoghurt.The consistency meter (flow viscometer) of MAYZUN is characterized by low cost, easy to operate and durability.The sample can be quickly tested for compliance with standard viscosity, consistency and fluidity no matter in the laboratory or production site. It is made of 2mm electrolytic treated steel plate and equipped with standard 100ml sample tank.Bostwick performed internal quality tests to ensure a harmony between measurement repeatability and instrumentation

Usage:
Step 1: pour the sample to be tested (usually 75ml) into the sample tank behind the spring door;
Step 2: press the lock on the spring door to make the spring door snap, and start the time with a stopwatch;
Step 3: the progress of fluid flow in the instrument can be accurately measured by a precise scale on the floor.Physical characteristics (viscosity, fluidity, etc.) of the sample can be calculated by comparing the flow rate within a specific time period (generally 30 seconds).
